Since the mid 1980's, Keck-Craig has been involved in an increasing number of projects in medical, dental and biotech areas. We handle the critical step between the initial sketch, model or assembly on the laboratory bench to the point where the product is ready to be manufactured in quantity for use in hospitals, clinics or directly by the patient.

All design, development and fabrication is under one roof in a confidential environment. Activities include design and fabrication of production machinery as well as development and prototyping of devices and instrumentation. All patents are assigned to clients.

For a client that had only an idea, we helped fully invent, develop and prototype the concept so the product could be prepared for the market.

Multi-Dose Dri-Grip Swab Capsule - Invented, Developed and Prototyped: Molded capsule is laser welded to provide a brittle plane which breaks when flexed. This makes a hermetic seal possible and a dry handle when opened unlike conventional foil pack.

Eyewashing System - Industrial Design and Product Engineering: For as start-up medical device firm, Keck-Craig designed and developed an eye wash system suitable for recreational use, industrial use or in the field. The unit is portable, pocket-sized and folds out to provide a sterile, comfortable irrigation stream to remove foreign bodies from the affected eye. Sales have increased year after year particularly to the roofing industry and for mining operations.
